Blood pressure medication. My doctor put me on a blood pressure medication An called bisoprolol. On the side of the bottle there is a warning that says to avoid staying out in the sun for long periods when taking. I live in Arizona... How do I avoid the sun? Any suggestions? |

I don't think it will cause much problem if you go out in the sun once in a while. Everybody needs to carry on their day-to-day activities and one can not sit idle for the sake of just one medicine. Only prolonged stay may cause problem as bisoprolol tends to increase sensitivity of your skin in the sun.
So, try to avoid long stay in the sun as much as possible, especially avoiding any kind of sunlamps and tanning beds. Always use sunscreen and wear protective clothing and accessories like sunglasses and hats before going out.
Good luck.
