Can you have a low blood pressure in one arm and a high pressure in the other arm? Can you have a low blood pressure in one arm (90 over 54) and the other arm (145 over 104) high? |

Generally this does not happen in healthy people. But if this is really your case, then a blood pressure difference between the arms that are greater 20/10 mm Hg could be a sign of an underlying problem, such as :
- narrowing of the main arteries to one arm
- blocked arteries in one arm
- heart defect
You should urgently seek your doctor's help as this may indicate an increased risk of mortality.
