Do i have a case of defamation or slander suit

My job is a caretaker i have done this for 18 years and am knowledgable about most medical terms etc. i got a job taking care of a 87 yr. old woman in the 1st stages of demencia however she is very smart and i love her and the same for her to me ..she has a POA who brought me to her to work and said she doesn't like anyone, and we hit it off, so i continued to work for 6 .5 months...i worked from 8-12 or 1pm and then back for meds and dinner at 4-6or7 ....the woman took a walk alone and without walker and fell ..3 people ran to help her and she ended up in the hospital not for being hurt but from a UTI infection ....so was hospitalized..the very expensive place she lived at said she now needed 24 hr. care to come back to their place..and her POA didn't want to do that ..too much money, which by the way she has...so they put her in respit for a while ..the nurse came to evaluate her and told her the situation ..not her POA so she is now in this place that is connected to where she used to live.with 24 hr. care meaning someone helps her with whatever she may need ..i was told i would continue being her companion after she was acclimated to this place ... she is basicly alone all day and night except for 3 meals in dining room which she hates ..i called the woman with POA and she said i can't visit or see her ever again because i have too much influence over her ...my friend knows these people put her where she is and wanted to change her POA and get out of where she is ...they won't even hook up the phone for her because i might call her..i found out that my picture is up in the lobby where she is now and a note saying to call 911 if i come on the property or in the building itself i have not said or done anything to deserve this treatment and to be kept from my dear friend ..the POA is so jealous of our relationship she doesn't want her near me ...i feel that my so called mug shot with orders to keep me away off the property to visit is wrong, and ruining my reputation as a caretaker..i have taken care of a lot of termanilly ill patients and ones with demencia one for 5 yrs. the man who runs the place where my friend lived and has made her go to this other place now and has been heard to say that he hates me ..i have never even talked to him except for a meeting, that i was capable of using a blood pressure monitor..and that my patient was going to get more care on my part..and some new medicine after a dr. appointment...so i have a witness to the remark that he hates me and a witness to the fact i did not rile my patient about going to the new place they were sending her, knowing if she didn't go they could further sedate her...sorry so long hope you can help?
