Hibiscus tea... Dr. Oz (love him!) said Hisbiscus tea is really good for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. Has anyone tried it? What does it taste like? |

I love Hibiscus tea!
it is slightly sour in its natural state, but once sugar is added, it tastes somewhat like a more intense herbal berry (cranberry, raspberry, blueberry, etc.) infused tea...
It's great for kidney problems, since it's a natural diuretic!
I use it to curb sugar cravings!

I too have heard and read the same about this superflower. I have been buying a hibiscus ready to drink tea from Whole Foods in Chicago under the name Jamaica Tease Co. Amazing how a beverage so good for you can also taste great. I cheat on occassion and add a little vodka to my Hibiscus tea. Taste even better.
