I am not going to tell you that it is impossible, but it really sounds like your symptoms are anxiety related. I am so sorry that you are going through this. Has your doctor suggested seeing a psychologist? The body has amazing ways to deal with stress and very often the results are physical symptoms such as you are experiencing. Sounds like you have been checked out. Your tests are very recent.

Western medicine has a way of checking out only the physical body and forgetting about the mind and spirit. It seems that you are concerned about your weight. Maybe a good psychologist could help you with your panic attacks as well as guide you towards understanding your relationship to food.

I hope you find the support you need so you can stop worrying and get some sleep. Do you have a way to find someone?

If you think you are having a heart attack call 911. But if it is a panic attack try to calm down. I've had panic attacks to. When I've had them I could not breathe at all. I figured out that it was me that was causing the attacks. I will give you an example. I have a son he is 8. When he was 2 my mom begged me to let Joey spend the night with her. Joey was the baby I didn't let him out of my sight, plus he was a spoiled and rambunctios child. I let my mom take him home. A friend called me we were talking she said something about a truckdriver. Immediate I thought about Joey running out in the street at my moms and getting hit by a truck. The thought almost killed me. I could not breathe talk anything. I ran outside for what I don't know, but it helped I started getting air. For the last couple f years. If I think something might be wrong. I take the thought out of my head immediatly. It works, and another thing if my heart does anything funny at all or I feel strange I make myself cough chage positions. That works to . I seen somewhere a man was in the middle of a heart attack and coughed all the way to the hospital. He lived.

Thank you for your answer- it helps a lot to get logical reassurance from someone who isn't a parent or friend. I was able to take a prescription to help calm me down and I finally slept (something I hadn't been able to do since this past Sunday).
I'll be calling a Psychiatrist today to help me work on my problem with anxiety, but thank you for helping me a little already.
