Please can anyone suggest what could be wrong with my friend ? Please can anyone suggest what could be wrong with my friend . He is 49 years old and suffers from high blood pressure, but apart from this is fairly healthy. But, he always falls asleep after eating even very small meals. This can happen at any time of day or night, and may last for anything from 10 minutes to several hours and I can't wake him up ? |

Sounds like your friend has narcolepsy, as stated in the link above. Or perhaps hypoglycemia. A change in diet, eating healthier foods (more whole foods) and less junk food, and also looking for any possible food allergies and such could possibly help. And take a good nutritional supplement Look for ways to improve digestion as maybe it's so overtaxing his system to digest food that it's making him so tired. Maybe an enzyme supplement such as bromelain to help him digest food better and an excellent probiotic supplement.
