Would one Adderall tablet daily give you high blood pressure? Adderall is a controlled drug simply because it can be easily abused and also has a range of side effects. One such side effect of Adderall is high blood pressure. However how much would Adderall increase your blood pressure? And does it affect only those people who already are on high blood pressure medication |

Adderall is contraindicated for any person on blood pressure medication. Its use can cause a hypertensive crisis. Adderall is an amphetamine. In other words the heart will begin to race as the drug takes effect, thus there is a major increase in the blood pressure and the heart goes into tachycardia which can cause a stroke, even in a child. The effects are more profound in a patient on a blood pressure regimen.
